Who doesn't love a wedding on a beautiful Spring day in a stunning historical garden?  That's just what we got to photograph for Charlene and Carsell's wedding. Charlene and Carsell had both their wedding ceremony and reception at the Historic Robert Mills House in Columbia, SC. Everything from the stunning flowers to the wonderful design of their wedding was just beautiful.  We had the always exciting chance to work with Melanie Murphy and her team of magic makers from By Invitation Only.  Charlene and Carsell were so in love, and it really showed.  We hope you enjoy our picks from the day.

LEEANN + PETE - wedding at St. Paul's Lutheran : Columbia, SC wedding photographer

We love St. Paul's Lutheran church.  It's a bit nostalgic for us actually as it was the first church we ever photographed in. We were very excited to go back again for LeeAnn and Pete's wedding.  LeeAnn and Pete were such a fun couple to work with.  Laid back, easy going, and able to roll with anything that happened.  We loved that LeeAnn was so prepared for rain that she wore her rain boots! After their ceremony, LeeAnn and Pete had a fabulous reception at the Congaree Vista room at the SC State Museum. It is such a wonderful space and they filled it with family and friends. KIM + JASON - wedding at Saluda Shoals River Center : Columbia, SC Wedding Photographer

Kim and Jason love their friends and family, know how to party, and never take themselves to seriously.  This made for a great day. So first off, we always try to limit the number of details we post.  This wedding was a bit challenging because there was so much!  So many details. Everywhere you looked there was something completely different. Shannon and her team at Shannon Baker Weddings did such a great job with putting everything together. We loved the rustic design and attention to detail as we said. Kim and Jason were such a joy, and we had fun working with them and all the quirly things that happened that day.  From a friend being walked down the isle on an iPad, to the many photo bombs, it was a great day.  We hope you enjoy! LINDSAY + CHUCK - Wedding at Harbour Town : Hilton Head Island, SC Wedding Photographers

Traveling for weddings can be so much fun.  New places and new people give us a change and a chance to make new connections.  We had the great chance to photograph LIndsay and Chuck's ​wonderful sea-side wedding. Their ceremony took place at the 18th hole at Harbour Town.  Lindsay and Chuck are both marine biologists, so it was fun to see their mutual passion incorporated into their decor. JESSIE + MATT - wedding in Camden, SC : Columbia, SC wedding photographers

Some small cities in South Carolina are just full of charm.  We had the great opportunity to photograph in Camden at the beautiful ​Bethesda Presbyterian Church and Spingdall Hall Country Club. Both locations were so cute, and the perfect fit for Jessie and Matthews wedding.  Right before Jessie was getting ready to walk down the isle that day, we (Aaron and Jessie) got to talking about how beautiful the weather had turned out that day.  During those short few minutes, Jessie told me all about how she and Matt had put a ton of thought into choosing the day they wanted to get married.  They considered Daylight Savings, the Carolina Cup, what time the sun would be setting ... everything. It was really was such a special moment to hear Jessie talk about all their planning right before walking in to meet her future husband.  It really was a beautiful day with a wonderful couple, and great people.
