Have we mentioned we love pups? It's so fun to get to include a couples furry friend (or two) into an engagement session. Caitlin and Carroll were great to work with, and we are so looking forward to their wedding later this year!
KELLEY + CHRIS - engagements session at the USC Horseshoe
We were so thrilled to be working with Kelley and Chris. Kelley actually grew up on the same street as Josh, so it was fun to photograph a very familiar (and very friendly) face. After having our own photos done with our bikes, it was fun to photograph Kelley and Chis with theirs. We had a great time on the horseshoe, and really hope you enjoy some of our favorites!
LAUREN + BRYAN - engagement session Columbia SC Photographer
One of the first things Lauren and Bryan said to us at their session was simply "Just tell us what to do." After having done quite a few engagement sessions, comments like this give me such a tickle. It reminds us that more often than not, this is their first time. Most people have never been photographed like this before and we love to help our couples every step of the way. All this is to say (this is to all the brides and grooms out there) don't worry. Photographers are here to help and guide you. We always work with you for your session. We don't expect couples to have modeling experience. If we expect anything its for you to relax and have fun. With that in mind, here are a few of our favorites from our very fun, very relaxed session with Lauren and Bryan (you guys did great by the way!).
RHIANNA + BEN - engagement session at the Old Sheldon Church Ruins : Beaufort, SC wedding photographer
Why is the lowcountry such a charming place? Is it the old trees? The Spanish moss? Whatever the reason, it's gotta be good. It was such a treat to head over to the Old Sheldon Church Ruins for Rhianna and Ben's session. It's such a great backdrop, and a wonderful place to explore. We're really looking forward to their wedding next year but until then, enjoy some of our favorites from their session!
JADE + MATT - wedding at the Lace House : SC Wedding Photographers
What a thing it was, the time leading up to this wedding. There was just so much excitement and anticipation. For one, the groom was (up until a very short time before the wedding day) stationed in Japan. For two, once we finally had a chance to see Jade and Matt together, there was a fierce love you could just see between them. There were so many touching moments both with smiles and tears (happy tears of course). We were just thrilled to work with this couple on their stunning wedding. We hope you enjoy!
