Dana + Chris - Wedding on the Observatory Terrace : SC State Museum

Dana and Chris had the most beautiful intimate wedding ceremony and dinner reception. Everything about their day was simple, beautiful, and so uniquely them. Their ceremony took place in the SC State Museum followed by a cafe lighted dinner on the observatory terrace overlooking the glittering Columbia skyline. All the intimate details were just wonderful. Oh and did I mention the astronomy inspired decor to compliment their unique location? Guests were treated to a fabulous dinner by Southern Way Catering, and we got a chance to make some fun nighttime portraits with the couple. We were thrilled to be part of their day.

RACHEL + CHRIS - wedding at Saluda River Club : South Carolina Wedding Photographer

Where do we even begin? I guess at the beginning. Right from the start we were excited to work with Rachel and Chris. Both very sweet, and both with their own personalities. Personalities that complimented each other. Their engagement session was a blast, and we knew the wedding was going to be spectacular.  There were so many beautiful elements to their day. Everywhere we looked Rachel and Chris had made something special for their day. From Rachel's stunning dress (I mean really stunning) to their suspended butterfly backdrop, their wedding was beautiful. See for yourself. Special thanks to Saluda River Club, Jamie Tran of Eyebrow Junkie Makeup Artistry and Southern Way Catering! We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from their day. Feel free to comment below, and leave them some love of your own :)

LILLIE + DANIEL - wedding at Boyce Chapel, reception at The Museum Of Art : Columbia, SC wedding photographers

With an amazing couple, friends, and vendors, Lillie and Daniel had a wonderful wedding day. One of our favorite parts of the day was being able to photograph them with Lillie's Grandfather's personal car, a 1950s vintage Ford. Heavy doors, jet black paint, and that hood ornament! It had it's own romanticism and style. Special thanks to the people who helped make the day great!

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE - an inspired styled shoot

We love styled shoots. It's a chance to work on something totally different, and we get to collaborate with some of our favorite people. This one was  (obviously by the title of this post) inspired by the classic children's story "Where the Wild Things Are".  You'll eat them up you'll love them so ;)

Thanks to Jamie Tran of http://www.eyebrowjunkie.com/ for makeup and Amy Schaming for hair and wardrobe. Original concept inspired by Jamie Tran.
