If you know me (Aaron…oh hi! Yes I write the blog) you know I love flowers. Actually I don’t just love flowers, I ADORE flowers. Little pieces of perfect beauty in all shapes, sizes, colors…flowers are just the best. When we walked into the synagogue for Rebecca and Lewis’s wedding, my jaw dropped. Flowers upon flowers upon flowers!

The day was just full of happiness, beauty, and smiles all around. This couple was so sweet to work with. We enjoyed every moment from their engagement session, all the way to “Hava Nagila”.

Lindsey + Jason - Wedding at the SC State Museum

Lindsey and Jason are such sweet people. Big hugs and grins were in no short supply the day of their wedding. One particular detail I loved about their day was a surprise inside Lindsey's dress. Sewn in was a heart patch made from the scrubs her father wore in the hospital the day she was born. You could really feel the love and celebration not just from the couple, but their families as well. That's what makes our days worth it.

Dana + Chris - Wedding on the Observatory Terrace : SC State Museum

Dana and Chris had the most beautiful intimate wedding ceremony and dinner reception. Everything about their day was simple, beautiful, and so uniquely them. Their ceremony took place in the SC State Museum followed by a cafe lighted dinner on the observatory terrace overlooking the glittering Columbia skyline. All the intimate details were just wonderful. Oh and did I mention the astronomy inspired decor to compliment their unique location? Guests were treated to a fabulous dinner by Southern Way Catering, and we got a chance to make some fun nighttime portraits with the couple. We were thrilled to be part of their day.

Kristen + Daniel - wedding at the South Carolina State Museum : Columbia, SC wedding photogrpahy

There were so many great things about this wedding that we loved. First, that the brides maiden name was lavender and she used actual lavender all throughout the wedding day. Also, that there were so many fun moments, memories, and details that made the day just fun. We loved working with Kristin and Daniel!

JESSI + TRIPP - wedding at the Kilgore Lewis House : Greenville, SC wedding photographers

We love great love stories, and Jessi and Tripp's was pretty fantastic. They met working for the circus and both share a strong love for everything that creeps, crawls, gallops, and walks. My favorite part of their day had to be their rings. The design stamped on their wedding bands is actually an impression from the skin of their favorite elephant! I mean seriously. How cool is that?! It was a wonderful day of Disney (yes, Disney music) down the isle, and plenty of fun at their reception where they were announced circus style. We hope you enjoy a few of our favorites from their day!
