One of the first things Lauren and Bryan said to us at their session was simply "Just tell us what to do." After having done quite a few engagement sessions, comments like this give me such a tickle. It reminds us that more often than not, this is their first time. Most people have never been photographed like this before and we love to help our couples every step of the way. All this is to say (this is to all the brides and grooms out there) don't worry. Photographers are here to help and guide you. We always work with you for your session. We don't expect couples to have modeling experience. If we expect anything its for you to relax and have fun. With that in mind, here are a few of our favorites from our very fun, very relaxed session with Lauren and Bryan (you guys did great by the way!).
Engagements
RHIANNA + BEN - engagement session at the Old Sheldon Church Ruins : Beaufort, SC wedding photographer
Why is the lowcountry such a charming place? Is it the old trees? The Spanish moss? Whatever the reason, it's gotta be good. It was such a treat to head over to the Old Sheldon Church Ruins for Rhianna and Ben's session. It's such a great backdrop, and a wonderful place to explore. We're really looking forward to their wedding next year but until then, enjoy some of our favorites from their session!
BRITTANY + CORY - engagements at USC
We were so excited when Brittany and Cory shared their story and idea for their engagement session with us. They have been together since high school! Really and truly high school sweet hearts. Their different outfits, additions, and locations were all part of their story of their journey together. Hope you enjoy a few of our favorites!
ASHLYNN + RYAN - engagement at the West Columbia Riverwalk
It's session season! We are so happy for the weather to be warmer and to be doing more sessions for our gorgeous couples. Here are a few faves from Ashlynn and Ryan.
SHANNON + TIM - engagement session at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens : Charleston, SC wedding photographer
Tim and Shannon were so excited for their session (and we were too!). It's really a great feeling for us when couples are excited. Now everyone shows excitement in different ways, but Shannon's excitement was more like that grin from ear to ear kind of excitement. We had the great opportunity to do their session where they will also be getting married! Magnolia Plantation and Gardens is just beautiful, and we had the perfect timing. The flowers were in bloom, the weather was mild (for the low-country) and everything was just beautiful. We hope you enjoy a few of our favorites!
