Weddings
Southern, lace, diamonds, and a white dinner jacket are all perfect cues for just what Nikki and Austin’s day was like. These two sweet people were married at their home church surrounded by family and friends. After getting ready at Pout, some wedding party photos, and a first look with Dad, Nikki and Austin exchanged letters and had a great moment with each other before the ceremony.
We loved capturing their day, and spending time with this fun loving couple!

Has this wedding been waiting two years in the wings to be blogged? …..maybe. Is it still awesome? Absolutely.
Kirby and Alex were high school sweet hearts who were married at their actual high school. We had so much fun working with them and their amazing wedding party on their day. After an amazing ceremony with lots of laughs, we had a great time working with this cute couple and their fun wedding party, lightsaber battle and all.
While the lightsabers were amazing, and the whole day so much fun, nothing could ever top the double rainbow that appeared after a sudden downpour. We literally ran out of the reception with Alex and Kirby to grab a few photos before it was gone in a flash.

Get ready for a post that’s pretty heavy on the portraits, and for a few good reasons. The first being that with Mormon ceremonies, you must be a member of the church to even enter the building. While we don’t have any moments of the ceremony itself, we were happy to capture their spectacular exit from the church including one impressive chest bump!
Another reason is that they are so gosh darn adorable! We loved working not only with Abbie and Jonathan, but with their wonderfully welcoming families. We hope you enjoy some of our favorites!
Charley and Danny has such a sweet and special day. Their wedding just happened to be during my favorite few weeks of every year. Towards the end of March and beginning of April is when the Lady Banks rose bloom in Columbia. We have two roses on the side of our house that have been there for over 60 years. They are one of my favorites, but only bloom once a year for about 2-3 weeks. It is a SHORT bloom, but oh so magical.
This amazing couples wedding just happened to intersect this time, and they had those beautiful frilly pompoms as a background for their amazing day. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding day.
