Lace House
A winter bridal session at the Lace House means cool clear air, beautiful light, and camellias all over the gardens. Leesa looked stunning in her gown, and we even had the chance to do some wonderful portraits in the house!
Sometime you have to laugh to keep from crying. It’s an old saying, but rang so much truth for Tarah’s bridal portrait session. Just weeks into the quarantine here in South Carolina, Tarah was scheduled to have her bridal session. We were literally days away from a full shutdown. Worried if we didn’t go ahead and get her portraits done now, we wouldn’t be able to do them at all, we pressed on and I’m so glad we did.
Tarah looked so stunning in her gown, and was just happy to be getting married. Although her wedding didn’t happen the day they originally intended, we were able to reschedule and their wedding day was beautiful. Can’t wait to share those images with you soon. Until then, enjoy some stunning photos of a beautiful person.
Maggie was simply and absolutely stunning.
We had such a great time working with Maggie on these portraits. Something I love as wedding gowns progress is their functionality and ability to change based on a brides needs. Maggie wanted a dress that had the ability to change from ceremony to reception, and her’s did so beautifully! With removable sleeves, she was able to get the look she wanted for her ceremony, and then have the freedom to move for the reception. We look forward to sharing more photos from her amazing day!
Charley and Danny has such a sweet and special day. Their wedding just happened to be during my favorite few weeks of every year. Towards the end of March and beginning of April is when the Lady Banks rose bloom in Columbia. We have two roses on the side of our house that have been there for over 60 years. They are one of my favorites, but only bloom once a year for about 2-3 weeks. It is a SHORT bloom, but oh so magical.
This amazing couples wedding just happened to intersect this time, and they had those beautiful frilly pompoms as a background for their amazing day. We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding day.
