Caroline + Blake - Wedding at Central Energy : Columbia, SC

There are so wonderful things about this wedding at Junction 800 was truly a sight to behold. The venue was adorned with an array of luscious flowers, creating a vibrant and romantic atmosphere. From delicate roses to cheerful stunning greens, every bloom was meticulously arranged, adding an extra touch of beauty to the occasion. The couple's attention to detail was showcased in the stunning DIY backdrop they crafted themselves. Against their stunning backdrop, the couple exchanged vows, surrounded by the love and warmth of their friends and family. It was a wedding that truly created lasting memories for all who attended.

Thank you to all the creatives involved!

Andrea + Travis - Wedding in Charleston, SC

My new favorite Charleston wedding is one that happens right in the middle of Charleston!

Andrea and Travis had their super sweet ceremony right in the middle of Washington Square. We were just a short walk across the street from their hotel where everyone got ready, and conveniently had one cobble stone street available right out front for photos. Something about their day felt opulent, bust still carefree and intimate and like it was almost a backyard wedding. Thanks to everyone who made their very special day happen beautifully!

Brittany + Jordan - 4...3...21... Surprise! Wedding at 701 Whaley Street

When Brittany first contacted us and we heard the words “surprise wedding” we had a million questions. Brittany happily explained their plan, and we prepared for 4/3/21 (get it???). The wedding was a surprise to all the guests with only the bride, groom, and parents aware of what kind of party they were really attending. Disguised as an engagement party, their wedding went off beautifully.

Katie + Billy - Wedding at the Historic Columbia Seibels House

Wedding season is almost upon us and I am bursting to work with all of our fabulous couples who have been working hard to plan beautiful events!

Katie and Billy had their gorgeous day at the Seibles House and Gardens which is part of Historic Columbia. Laughs, hugs, and love from all their family and friends made this day just perfect.

Amanda + Nick - Wedding at The Biltmore Estate with By Invitation Only

When we got the call that Amanda and Nick were changing their wedding date and location (yes, covid strikes again), my heart sank. I was so looking forward to their wedding in a field with a gorgeous tent and all the wonderful details. That sentiment went from disappointment to disbelief when they said the word “Biltmore”.

Did I hear that right? Are you sure? Biltmore? Like…THE Biltmore? I had always wanted to photograph a wedding at the Biltmore. When our daughter Caroline was in preschool, we bought annual passes and took every opportunity to visit. We would see the house, walk the grounds, and ride bikes near the river and lake for a picnic.

What’s even more wonderful is everything about the day totally exceeded our expectations. We’re so grateful to Amanda and Nick for taking us along on this adventure, and for the wonderful creative professionals that made it all happen.
