When Brittany first contacted us and we heard the words “surprise wedding” we had a million questions. Brittany happily explained their plan, and we prepared for 4/3/21 (get it???). The wedding was a surprise to all the guests with only the bride, groom, and parents aware of what kind of party they were really attending. Disguised as an engagement party, their wedding went off beautifully.

Emma + Jennings: Wedding with By Invitation Only Event Planning and Design at 701 Whaley
So…it’s been a minute. I have to say 2021 DEFINITLY got away from me in terms of sharing the amazing events and couples we have had. Maybe one day I will catch up? In the meantime, meet Emma and Jennings. They had the most perfect winter wedding. Emma was certainly channeling princess vibes with her delicate lily of the valley bouquet, and Jennings was a show stopper in his plaid tux. Everything about this day was perfection, and we had so much fun with this amazing couple.

Hannah + Jake - Engagements in the Studio plus 701 Whaley
When Hannah and Jake said they wanted an all black and white studio engagement session we were there for every second of it. These two are just so cute, and we had so much fun creating a modern and clean engagement session with them.
Have a vision for your session? We want to hear it!
Jesse + Pack - Wedding at 701 Whaley
Get ready for a long one. There were so many photos we’ve been dying to share from this day! Jesse and Pac were the sweetest, and we were so happy to be part of their day. My personal favorite was their living wall behind the cake! John Gray made such a beautiful display. Since there are so many photos, I’ll keep the text here short.

Courtney + Joel - Wedding at First Baptist and 701 Whaley
Courtney and Joel’s wedding day was just so lovely. Their memorable first look was such a great way to start portraits with the two of them.
The photos can speak for themselves, but Joel was so excited to see Courtney. The weather was cold, but there is something about the warm sun in the winter making photos even more dreamy at sunset.
Here are just a few of our favorites from their amazing day!
