When Josh and Meagan first contacted us, it was a bit hard to believe. Really?  You mean we get to do a session that cool?!  What was even cooler was how cool Meagan and Josh were. Fun, eager, easy going, and drop dead gorgeous to boot. Oh yeah and there was that amazing piece of engineering and history that we got to work with too. All in all it was an amazing day. Special thanks to Owens Field and the guys who let us shoot with the plane.

Is that a cat? Like....a real cat? Why yes. Yes it is. What's an engagement session without pizza and a cat anyways? Well, we did it. We photographed a cat :)  Carrie and Jamie were indescribably fun to work with. We loved their unique ideas and contributions, claws and all. Special thanks to Pizza Joint for letting us crash their dinning room.

It's all about being comfortable not being comfortable. Read it again and say it to yourself. It's all about being comfortable not being comfortable. Now repeat this to yourself at least an hour a day for a week before your engagement session :)  Now you are ready to begin :)  How do we get those dreamy intimate shots of couples cuddling in a field? It's not all about the lighting, it's not all about the posing, it's all about getting your two people who love each other to make a connection even for the briefest of moments. It's about getting them to be comfortable while doing something uncomfortable.

Laughing is one of our top favorite things. Whether it is making chicken noises with our four year old sweetie, random beatbox concerts from across the room, or just being goofy in general, laughter is a huge part of who we are. We love to laugh, and thankfully so do Marcy and Brian. They had us laughing the whole time. We hope you enjoy their photos (especially the silly ones!).

You've heard it before. Location, location, location. Well, it's true with photography as well. With one exception. Light, light, light. It's hard to have a great location, without great light. Well, with Randi and Tate, we had both. Oh and what's even more cool than having your engagement session at William's Brice Stadium?  Having control of the lights at William's Brice Stadium.Yup!  We got to turn those lights on and had a blast. All the while shouting over the tests of announcements. Did I mention this was the day before the first game of the season? :)
