Spanish Moss in Columbia, shade trees all around, and a charming house. Where else could we be but The Millstone at Adam's Pond! We love Adam's Pond not just for the gorgeous location and scenery, but the people as well :) We were so excited to work with Nicole and Keith on their wedding day. They had such a laid back way about them, it made for a fun and care-free day. We hope you enjoy some of our favorites!

Grace and Nick's wedding was something that just can't be captured in words. The emotion and love not just between Nick and Grace, but between their families was really touching. We loved all the wonderful details that they included in their wedding decor. From the seed favors, to the stunning lanterns released, everything just made you swoon. We loved the fact that Grace choose a vintage PURPLE gown, and that their wedding bands were hand-made with turquoise instead of diamonds. Nick and Grace did everything that would make them happy. They didn't follow the normal just because, and you could feel the love between them. We hope you enjoy some of our favorites!
This wedding was just too good for words. So, we'll just let you see the photos. What an amazing day it was for such an amazing and inspirational couple.

Why do we do it? Weekend after weekend? We see couples get married on a weekly basis. Since the start of all of this, Josh and I have been present as photographers for 89 weddings. We love it because we love connection. We love the bond and relationships between two people. Katy and Ryan were such a wonderful couple to be with and photograph. I know we often talk about people being comfortable in front of the camera and how much we love it, but it has so much truth. I think part of it comes from being comfortable with each other. Katy and Ryan really worked hard to make their wedding day unique to them. They wanted something different not for difference's sake, but for the feeling of individuality much the their relationship. Yes everyone says vows, everyone has decor, everyone has something to eat, but its the thought and personality that makes each wedding different.
The day was full of fun, and full of characters. One of our favorites being Ethel the dog. She is so perfect, and I love that Katy and Ryan wanted to include her. There are just too many great things to talk about so.... on to the photos!
