One thing you never think to worry about for a bridal session? Wind. That's right, it was so windy on the day of Leah's portrait, trees were coming down, debris was flying everywhere, and in the middle of it all was Leah cool, calm, and collected. We did seek shelter after a few portraits on the State House grounds, but you'd never know from her stunning smile, and poise.
LAUREN + ROSS - Epic Charleston Engagement session
Lauren and Ross were seriously fantastic. Seriously. We had a great time roaming around Charleston before heading over the John's Island for their engagement session. Two great locations, and two wonderful people made for a fantastic afternoon. We can't wait for their wedding later this year!
LAUREN + ANDREW - engagements at the Lace House
One of the things I love about the Lace House Gardens is all the wonderful cool greens. With all the paths, and turns throughout, there's always something to explore. Lauren and Andrew were a great time, and we can't wait to share their stunning wedding!
TAYLOR + FRED - engagement at Buckridge Plantation
Great weather, and a sweet fun couple makes for a wonderful afternoon session. We had such a great time working with Taylor and Fred out at Buckridge Plantation.
ASHLEIGH + EVAN - Rainy day wedding on a Horse Farm in Georgia
Rain on your wedding day is about the top 5 most dreaded (or maybe even higher) problems that can happen for a bride. So much work and preparation has gone into the day and the last thing you want is it all to go to waste if you can't even be outside. That's where we come in. Even in the rain, thunder, fog, we can always make something work. Ashleigh and Evan's wedding venue was just stunning, even in the rain. The dog and haze rolling over the hills was so beautiful, and the rain let up just in time to do photos and have a beautiful ceremony in their open air chapel. We were so happy to work with this fun couple who by the way, Rick Rolled their own first dance. We hope you enjoy a few (or a lot) of our favorites from the day!
