It’s been a minute since we’ve been to downtown Charleston for a shoot. It’s always an adventure with beautiful streets, colorful houses, and LOTS of walking. Here are just a few of our favorite’s from this sweet brides session!

Kristin - Bridal Portraits on the USC Horseshoe
Can we first take a moment to recognize and celebrate the end of the ridiculous UofSC debacle? I am proud to say we had Kristen’s beautiful bridal session on the USC horseshoe!
Boy do Iove a flowy veil. Why you might think it’s unruly, I think that thin beautiful fabric blowing around couldn’t be more beautiful. Sure, there’s something to be said of “perfect” portrait, but I always feel like the phrase “perfectly imperfect” fits better into my mindset :)
Leesa - Bridal Session at the Lace House at Arsenal Hill
A winter bridal session at the Lace House means cool clear air, beautiful light, and camellias all over the gardens. Leesa looked stunning in her gown, and we even had the chance to do some wonderful portraits in the house!
Charlie - Bridal Session in Camden, South Carolina
We have our favorite locations around town, but nothing is quite like shooting at a brides family home. In the charming front yard, and beautiful streets of Camden, we had a great time capturing this beautiful bride!
Rebecca - Bridal Session at the SC State House
Shooting at the South Carolina State House is indeed a staple. Shooting inside? It can really be a treat, but it’s not without it’s challenges :) In this case, challenge accepted. Rebecca was stunning and looked absolutely effortless in her gown as we trapesed around the state house avoiding the gusting wind. These were just a few of our favorites!
