Can we first take a moment to recognize and celebrate the end of the ridiculous UofSC debacle? I am proud to say we had Kristen’s beautiful bridal session on the USC horseshoe!
Boy do Iove a flowy veil. Why you might think it’s unruly, I think that thin beautiful fabric blowing around couldn’t be more beautiful. Sure, there’s something to be said of “perfect” portrait, but I always feel like the phrase “perfectly imperfect” fits better into my mindset :)
We get asked quite often if couples can bring their sweet fur babies to engagement sessions. The answer is always yes! We love including dogs (and even once a cat). Pets are family too, and those cute wet noses make sessions even more fun. Zoe the little Dachshund would even look if you say "cheese!"
While weddings and headshots do take up most of our time, we are always thrilled to step away and do something totally different. For a few years now, we've had the wonderful opportunity to work with the Carolina Girls Dance team! Our time with them is always so much fun. Here are a few of our favorites of all the girls from their portrait day on the Horseshoe!

There. We said it. You can be as silly, playful, and crazy as you want to be. Just communicate that to us! Dallas and Ryan let us know that they were fun, relaxed, and playful people, so we took that opportunity to do a few things differently with them. Like getting ice cream from http://sweetcreamcompany.com/ on Main Street, oh yeah and having a water balloon fight on the Horseshoe (don't worry, we cleaned it all up). It was the perfect session for them.
Caroline, Taylor, and Ruby were a riot. With huge personalities, and hearts we had fun shooting their morning session on the Horseshoe at USC and then the antique store. Since antiquing was something they loved doing together, we had fun perusing the isle of other peoples treasures and laughing at all the oddities there are to be had in the nooks and crannies of the store. We hope you have fun looking through our favorites!
