We were so excited when Meredyth told us she wanted to do her bridal portrait at Lowndes Grove in Charleston. It is such a beautiful venue with so many great spaces to work with. One of the things we absolutely love about photography is the ability to create an environment in a single moment. While Addie's bridals may look like we were shooting during summer break at the College of Charleston, in fact we were there with what felt like every single student. There was a little bit of waiting. A few moments of asking is folks could move, but it all turned out :) So, word to the wise. If you can avoid shooting during classes.....do that.
We were so excited to work with Alix and David at the beautiful Magnolia Plantation. It was just so stunning. So much so that we have few words. Instead, here are pictures :)

Charleston is just so lovely. Just about everywhere you look, there is something beautiful. We were really excited when Jean and Braian told us they wanted to have their engagement session in Charleston. Here are a few of our favs!
Monica and Adam are awesome. And so was their wedding. Monica and Adam had a beautiful wedding down in Charleston, SC. We were so happy to be there capturing all their wonderful moments, and being apart of their amazing day. Not only were Monica and Adam super fun to work with, but so was the bridal party! (See photos below). Monica and Adam had some wonderfully fun twists on tradition. We loved capturing Monica and Adam before the wedding getting a chance to talk, but not see each other. With the tradition of not seeing the bride before she is walking down the isle, this seemed like such a sweet compromise to breaking tradition. After their beautiful ceremony in St. Luke's Chapel (I mean really. Look at this place!) they had an amazing reception at the Double Tree in Downtown Charleston. Glow sticks, great music, and their great friends and family made for an amazing party. We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from this stunning wedding.
