Lauren's wedding was full of white, blush, and light all around. As the beautiful natural light of the lace house faded into dusk, the hanging lights that covered the dance floor really came alive. Every part of Lauren and Andrews day was exquisite. What was even better were some of the personal items they incorporated like her mothers own wedding shoes. This wedding had so much beauty, that all came together with the help of some wonderful professionals. These are just a few of our favorites!
For Corey and Eric, having a wedding that was anything short of fabulous was just not an option. And let us tell you, their wedding was FABULOUS! One of our big roles at the beginning of the day is we like to try and keep our couples and bridal parties as on time and calm as possible. Well, we did manage to stay on time, and the rest is history :) But it all fit so well with everyone's personality, I think somehow the chaos was just perfect. Everyone was loud, in charge, and so happy and excited they just couldn't stand it I think. The wedding ceremony was just beautiful too. Melanie Murphy and her team over at By Invitation Only did an incredible job throughout the entire event. The ceremony was held at 701 Whaley in one of the smaller ballrooms. Vines wrapped the beams, candles and lanterns hung from the ceiling, and the chuppah was just breathtaking. Candles weren't the only thing hanging from the ceiling. Corey and Eric's SUSPENDED cake was a first. I think every guest took a picture of it because it was just so spectacular! Parkland outdid themselves on the cake, and the presentation by Melanie and the girls was one of a kind. The details were grand and the party was unforgettable at this wonderful wedding. We were so excited to work with Lauren and Brandon. There are some people the first time you meet, you know it's a good thing. This was the way it was with Lauren. Our first meeting was with Lauren and her mom, and we couldn't be more excited to work with them. Lauren and Brandon's love for each other is so sweet, you can't keep a smile off your face. I wouldn't be surprised if they never had any arguments they are both so easy going. Their wedding was at the beautiful Westin Resort overlooking the Savannah River. The ceremony was originally planned to take place out on the lawn right next to the river, but the weather had different plans. After a beautiful morning, the rain finally came, and the wedding was moved inside to one of the ballrooms. Did Lauren cry? Goodness no. In fact, nothing could dampen their spirits. Lauren was more concerned about her guests being comfortable than trying to have her wedding outside. It was really an amazing moment that put everyone at ease. We all knew that Lauren and Brandon were more focused on getting married, than where they were getting married. Here are some of our favorites from their wedding day. You might notice, that Lauren, Brandon, and all their family and friends are rather...athletic :) Cheerleaders to be exact. Amazing cheerleaders. At one point Josh turned to me and said "I felt like I was in a room with super heroes or something". Be sure to check out some of the amazing things we were able to capture. From mid air running front flips, a father daughter dance turned wobble, some serious swing dancing, and portraits in the rain, it was truly an amazing day. Oh yeah...and who get's a rainbow on their wedding day? These kids.
