MONICA + ADAM - beautiful wedding in Charleston, SC

Monica and Adam are awesome. And so was their wedding.  Monica and Adam had a beautiful wedding down in Charleston, SC.  We were so happy to be there capturing all their wonderful moments, and being apart of their amazing day.  Not only were Monica and Adam super fun to work with, but so was the bridal party!  (See photos below).  Monica and Adam had some wonderfully fun twists on tradition.  We loved capturing Monica and Adam before the wedding getting a chance to talk, but not see each other.  With the tradition of not seeing the bride before she is walking down the isle, this seemed like such a sweet compromise to breaking tradition.  After their beautiful ceremony in St. Luke's Chapel (I mean really.  Look at this place!) they had an amazing reception at the Double Tree in Downtown Charleston.  Glow sticks, great music, and their great friends and family made for an amazing party.  We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from this stunning wedding.

MEGAN + JESS - wedding at Chattooga Belle Farm

Megan and Jess had a one-of-a-kind wedding and venue, because they are a one-of-a-kind couple.  Both Americans, both teaching in China :)  They were married at the breathtaking Chattooga Belle Farm with the mountains as their backdrop.  Surrounded by vineyards, peach orchards, family, and friends, their wedding was a beautiful day.  Megan and Jess were so excited to be getting married.  All of the decorations and details, were done by Megan and their family.  Wine bottles marked the tables, along with gerber daisies.  Red was their main color to represent China, where they met and lived.  Favors were cute Chinese boxes with fortune cookies of course!  Megan and Jess love color which matches their bold and wonderful personalities so perfectly.  Megan and Jess wanted to do a few photos together before the ceremony, but wanted to keep with tradition of not seeing each other.  We came up with the fun idea to have them back to back right next to the grape vines.  They loved being able to hold hands, and we loved being able to capture the sweet moments between the two before their ceremony.  This was actually a special day for us as it marked our 5th year together as husband and wife.  While we didn't get to celebrate, we had the opportunity to capture Megan and Jess ejoying their first day together.  We hope they have many wonderful, happy years together! We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from their incredible day!

MADISON + CHARLES - fairy-tale wedding at Hopeland Gardens and the Rye Patch

Madison and Charles really did have a fairy-tale wedding :) Everywhere you looked, there was something beautiful hanging, placed, or arranged.  From glass teardrop vases hanging from the trees, to the chandelier in the middle of the garden, their details were everywhere!  We loved Madison and Charles wedding not only from the outward beauty of the details, but from the wonderful love that Madison and Charles share for each other.  It is a love that seems to put a smile on everyone's face, and brings people together.  We loved working with everyone at their wedding.  One of our favorite elements of their wedding as the favors.  We were sure to include photos of them below.   Each guest was sent home with a bible.  They each had library cards with their parents signatures letting their guests know the importance of God in their relationship.  It was so sweet and such a unique favor for all of their guests.  Their love and laughter was everywhere, and enjoyed by everyone.  Even through the rain mid-ceremony, Madison and Charles were able to see the wonder in all parts of their day.  Charles was so excited to be married to Madison, he went in for the kiss not once, not twice, but three times before the officiant could get to the end :) We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from the day!

A huge and special thanks to everyone who was a part of this amazing wedding:
