SYDNEY + PHILLIP - wedding at the Upcountry History Museum : Greenville, SC wedding photographers

Sydney and Phillip wanted to fun, elegant, and laid back wedding which matched perfect with their personalities.  We had the wonderful opportunity to work with them on their engagement session too which is always nice for us.  It makes the wedding day more of a reunion. We get to know our couple better, and have a more relaxing time on the day of the wedding.  It's funny because Sydney warned us that she would need some calming and coaching to get through the day and not try to take charge of anything.  It turned out she was a perfect bride :)  The whole day went smoothly, and everything was fabulous.  We loved all the great little details that Sydney added into her wedding.  From the flower piece she wore in her hair, to the adorable flower girl dresses; everything just made you smile :) Another fun thing that Sydney did was a first look with her dad.  It was a really great moment as her dad had not seen her in her dress yet.  It was great to be there for that :) All night long it was a great party and we loved capturing it.  Sydney was very, what we call, "camera aware" but we loved catching all of her fun expressions as they enjoyed the evening. We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from the day! Don't miss their kiss.  It was pretty awesome. Oh and be sure to check out some vendor love below.

JESSICA + BRIAN - wedding at Senate's End : Columbia, SC wedding photographers

Jessica and Brian are old souls.  Everything they had to offer was just a bit different.  They had their own flair and we loved every minute of it.  As a photographer, sometimes brides ask you very specific and pointed questions.  Questions you are not really sure how to answer because in an instant you see two outcomes.  One good, and one bad.  Jessica, was always the good outcome.  While she was getting ready, excitement was just buzzing through her and around the room, she turned to Aaron and said "Does my dress make you think of the little mermaid?"  How to answer that question?!  I (Aaron) smiled, and said, "It looks lovely.  Very different from anything I've yet to see."  Jessica responded proudly "I love it!  It reminds me of the Little Mermaid mixed with White Christmas!"  (a sigh of relief :)  )  That really set the tone for the whole day for us.  Jessica couldn't have been happier with any aspect of her wedding day....and it showed. I say Jessica and Brian are old souls because of the wonderful thought and detail put into their wedding day.  Jessica wore a silver pendant on her wrist.  A gift from her grandfather to her grandmother.  She even wore her grandmother's veil.  She had a style all her own, and everything had a wonderful elegance to it. We had the wonderful opportunity to do a first look with Jessica and Brian.  Brian was so excited he turned a whole 20 feet too early, but it was just as sweet and memorable :)  Their mass was beautiful and full of their personality.  You'll see one of our favorite photos of Jessica, turned around during the ceremony to give her parent's a wink and thumbs up!

The reception was an elegant affair with a first dance that brought the house down.  Another thing we love at weddings are surprises during the father daughter dance.  Jessica and her dad did not disappoint.  With elegant details and fun all around, their reception was a night to remember.  We loved being there.  We hope you enjoy some of our favorite memories from their day.

DONNA + DANNY - vow renewal Springdale House and Garden : Lexington, SC wedding photographer

Donna and Danny did what I am sure many married women dream of.  They renewed their vows. Donna and Danny had a simple sweet wedding at the courthouse 15 years ago, and decided they wanted to celebrate their upcoming anniversary with family and friends. We have to say, Donna was simply stunning in her dress!  Everything about the day had so many wonderful personal touches, it was a joy to photograph it all.   Just look at those mason jar champagne glasses!  Everything was so cute :) Here are just a few of our favorites from their day.

Rebecca + Jeremy - wedding in Boykin, SC

When Rebecca and Jeremy fist met with us, Josh and I were so excited to talk with them.  We all seemed to click, and their wedding sounded so amazing we were so happy to be on board. Their wedding took place at the cutest little church out in Boykin, SC.  We'd give you their website, but we were happy this place had electricity.  The church was founded in 1782 and was downright cute. After a wonderful ceremony, everyone crossed the street and headed over the to reception at the PLACE!!!! We worked with some really amazing vendors on this wedding, and I think it really shows.  Their reception was a plated family style dinner with some truly southern dishes that were to die for!  All of this took place under a romantic clear tent set in a field. We loved everything about this wedding.  From being asked to stand in front of the couple of the kiss (AH!) to photos in a soybean field.  The whole day was amazing.  Here are just a few of our favorite memories and photos from the day.  Please check out the vendor love below as we truly love these amazing and talented people! Melanie Murphy and her team from By Invitation Only... Event Planning and Design did an incredible job on this wedding.  Truly incredible.  We love working with Melanie and her team and cannot say enough good things :)

Sarah of  Fern Studio did such an amazing job on the flowers.  They were so romantic, and really set the tone for the whole day.  I mean really....who has terrariums?! The flowers were amazing.  Just take another look.

Aberdeen Catery was responsible for the exciting southern menu we talked about.  SO cute, so yummy! (Oh yeah and the people were nice too)

Palmetto Party Rental provided the romantic clear tent.

And Brad of Artiface just up the road in Greenville, SC was with us all day long capturing moving pictures :)  We loved working with Brad because he was laid back....and we picked on each other all day.  The sarcasm was flowing.

LAUREN + BRANDON - wedding at the Westin Resort : Savannah, GA Wedding Photographers

We were so excited to work with Lauren and Brandon.  There are some people the first time you meet, you know it's a good thing.  This was the way it was with Lauren.  Our first meeting was with Lauren and her mom, and we couldn't be more excited to work with them.  Lauren and Brandon's love for each other is so sweet, you can't keep a smile off your face.  I wouldn't be surprised if they never had any arguments they are both so easy going.  Their wedding was at the beautiful Westin Resort overlooking the Savannah River.  The ceremony was originally planned to take place out on the lawn right next to the river, but the weather had different plans.  After a beautiful morning, the rain finally came, and the wedding was moved inside to one of the ballrooms.  Did Lauren cry?  Goodness no.  In fact, nothing could dampen their spirits. Lauren was more concerned about her guests being comfortable than trying to have her wedding outside.  It was really an amazing moment that put everyone at ease. We all knew that Lauren and Brandon were more focused on getting married, than where they were getting married. Here are some of our favorites from their wedding day.  You might notice, that Lauren, Brandon, and all their family and friends are rather...athletic :)  Cheerleaders to be exact.  Amazing cheerleaders. At one point Josh turned to me and said "I felt like I was in a room with super heroes or something". Be sure to check out some of the amazing things we were able to capture.  From mid air running front flips, a father daughter dance turned wobble, some serious swing dancing, and portraits in the rain, it was truly an amazing day. Oh yeah...and who get's a rainbow on their wedding day?  These kids.

Congratulations Lauren and Brandon!!!
