LIZ + TK - the Epic wedding : Columbia, SC wedding photographers

Liz and TK had one word they wanted their wedding to be.  Epic.  So you can imagine, it was a pretty over the top day :)  We had a chance to work with some amazing people, who made Liz and TK's wedding everything they wanted it to be.  We were really excited to see Liz incorporate her style from New Orleans into their southern wedding. From the menu, to the second line there were signs of Liz and TK everywhere. Be sure to check out their surprise first dance, and wardrobe change.  It was a great day! KATY + RYAN - engagements in Columbia, SC : Columbia SC wedding photographer

This session was awesome.  It just was :)  We're pretty much smitten with this one :) We loved Katy and Ryan's look, sense of style, and their easiness and comfortable demeanor in front of the camera. We had a blast, and loved that they wanted to include their adorable pup Ethel.  Thanks to Katy's brother Andrew for being our dog wrangler for their session.

Who doesn't love a wedding on a beautiful Spring day in a stunning historical garden?  That's just what we got to photograph for Charlene and Carsell's wedding. Charlene and Carsell had both their wedding ceremony and reception at the Historic Robert Mills House in Columbia, SC. Everything from the stunning flowers to the wonderful design of their wedding was just beautiful.  We had the always exciting chance to work with Melanie Murphy and her team of magic makers from By Invitation Only.  Charlene and Carsell were so in love, and it really showed.  We hope you enjoy our picks from the day.

AMANDA + MARK - workout themed engagements at the State House : Columbia, SC wedding photographer

If you've ever read our blog before, you know that we love getting to know our brides and grooms, and really put some thought into their engagement session.  Amanda and Mark are certainly no exception.  They met....at the gym! So why not incorporate that into their engagement session :)  Mark was just pleased to know he could be comfortable for at least part of it :)  Okay...too many smilies.  Onto the photos!  

LEEANN + PETE - wedding at St. Paul's Lutheran : Columbia, SC wedding photographer

We love St. Paul's Lutheran church.  It's a bit nostalgic for us actually as it was the first church we ever photographed in. We were very excited to go back again for LeeAnn and Pete's wedding.  LeeAnn and Pete were such a fun couple to work with.  Laid back, easy going, and able to roll with anything that happened.  We loved that LeeAnn was so prepared for rain that she wore her rain boots! After their ceremony, LeeAnn and Pete had a fabulous reception at the Congaree Vista room at the SC State Museum. It is such a wonderful space and they filled it with family and friends.
