Alyssa and Hayden are young, headstrong, and focused on God. Their relationship was so routed in their beliefs that they really incorporated their love for Christ throughout their wedding day. There were so many touching moments with family and friends, that it was impossible for anyone there to miss how much love the couple and families had for each other. From the bridesmaids laying their hands on Alyssa in prayer, to Alyssa and Hayden washing each other's feet during the ceremony, it was all part of their beautiful day. They had such a focus on their day really being part of them, they took every opportunity to make it their own. Alyssa went so far as to create their custom cake centerpieces showcasing her love and talent for baking (that's right. She did the fondant work on those stunning cake centerpieces). Lavender was used throughout the day from the bouquets, to the cups of lavender the guests showered the couple with as they left for the night. It was all just simple, beautiful, and full of love. Special thanks to Stone River, Southern Way, Lexington Florist, and Party Time. We hope you enjoy some of our favorite moments!
AMANDA + ROB - wedding in at Wild Dunes Resort : Isle of Palms Wedding Photographer
When we first met with Amanda and Rob there was a definite click. We were so looking forward to their day, their details, and working with them throughout. With their ceremony an reception at the gorgeous Wild Dunes Resort on Isle of Palms, everywhere we went was beautiful. Their ceremony was perfect overlooking the water. One very special thing we got to do with Amanda and Rob was capturing the stars. After a long day of preperation, dancing, and everything else that goes into a wedding, they were gracious enough to sit in for one more shot. You'll see it below :)
Special thanks to Wild Dunes, By Invitation Only, Charleston Florist for making the day so beautiful! The details and beauty done expertly by the team at By Invitation Only was fantastic.
GRAYSON + DAVID - wedding at Stone River : Columbia, SC wedding photography
They say it's good luck to rain on your wedding day, and that rain will bring you years of happiness. If that's true, Grayson and David will have love and luck for quite awhile because it poured rain right at the start of their ceremony! With a very smooth transition from the minister, and a carefully placed umbrella, no makeup was ruined, and vows were still said. In fact, the rain let up before they said their vows and had a lovely rest of the service overlooking the river. There was so much fun, love, and laughter that day I don't know that anything could have gotten them down. Grayson and David had their wedding at the beautiful new venue Stone River. It was a lovely day. We hope you enjoy some of our favorites!
WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE - an inspired styled shoot
We love styled shoots. It's a chance to work on something totally different, and we get to collaborate with some of our favorite people. This one was (obviously by the title of this post) inspired by the classic children's story "Where the Wild Things Are". You'll eat them up you'll love them so ;)
Thanks to Jamie Tran of http://www.eyebrowjunkie.com/ for makeup and Amy Schaming for hair and wardrobe. Original concept inspired by Jamie Tran.
TRAVEL - Disney Trip 2013 "ride video!"
Where do we vacation? Disney World of course! Last year was pretty epic and we are counting down the days till our next trip. Till then, enjoy this quirky video complete with Joshua, Aaron, Caroline, Justin, Mom, and Dad. And we're apparently the best parents ever (sarcasm) for taking our 5 year old on Tower of Terror. That's right. Have height, will ride :) All filmed with a GoPro Hero 3.
