Until you live in the South, you never realize how wonderful and available the history really is. To be able to walk in to some of the beautiful historic homes and landmarks here just in Columbia is a sight. We were thrilled when Sarah and Stephen asked us to work with them on their gorgeous wedding at the Lace House. The wedding was in the Memorial Garden, followed by a beautiful reception on the mall. Simply gorgeous. Natalie and Willis had a fairy tale day at The Zone at Williams Brice Stadium. The dress, the Jimmy Choo's, Willis's stunning midnight blue suit, the fog... we could go on and on. This wedding was nothing short of fabulous, and we were so thrilled to be part of their day, and to work with such a strong couple.

Everything about Ashley and Jeff's wedding was pretty much just perfectly imperfect. After working on planning the traditional church wedding, reception, 200 person, planned to a T wedding, Ashley and Jeff decided to go a different direction. That direction being, let's get married in 3 weeks on an antique yacht surrounded by only our family and best friends. Let me tell you. It. Was. Perfect. We literally sailed off under the warm low sun in Hilton Head. Our ride was complete with champagne, and a dolphin escort. After finding the perfect spot, Ashley and Jeff had a gorgeous ceremony. The skies were clear, and while the air was a little cold, we all felt the warm kiss of the sun while they exchanged vows. I could go on and on about how amazing this wedding was, but I'll let you see it for yourselves :)
We've already had the fantastic pleasure of sharing Sarah and Pan's Cambodian wedding on our blog, and now it's time for their American wedding! Sarah and Pan were married at Sarah's home church of The Episcopal Church of St. Simon and St. Jude in Irmo, SC. Their reception followed at the beautiful Lace House. Sarah's stunning reception was spread along the mall of the Governors mansion grounds. Open air and cafe lights set such a romantic tone for their evening. Meagan Warren Weddings did a fabulous job adorning the tables with beautiful place settings and elegant bud vases. We just loved all the sophisticated elements that Sarah and Pan included in their day. One of my favorites was their cake! Covered in gold glitter and topped with a NYC taxi, their cake was a fantastic element and homage to their new home of NYC. The whole day was a wonderful blend of North and South. What in incredible day. This family was so fantastic and special to us. From the very beginning Monica's sweetness and her families hospitality made us fall in love. Monica and Jerrod deserved nothing less than a magical day. With an incredible team of vendors, their wedding was just stunning. Meagan Warren Weddings and Fern Studio pull out all the stops with the amazing tables, color pallet, and one of a kind hanging floral piece over the bar. We loved how romantic and whimsical the whole day was.
