Part of being a good photographer is being able to see the beauty in what you see. We love our brides, and see every single one as beautiful. Janet was no exception. We loved her look, and every part of Janet was just breathtaking. We hope you enjoy some of our favorites from our session with her at one of our favorite bridal locations, The Lace House! Special thanks to Jamie Tran on Eyebrowjunkie.com for doing such a beautiful job on Janet's makeup, and to American Floral for her unique and stunning bouquet!

LIZ - rocks her dress : Bridal portraits at the Lace House : Columbia, SC Wedding Photographers
The Lace House is one of our favorite locations for bridal portraits. Especially when we actually get to go into the house. We had a great time working with Liz and her trusty bridesmaids :) We hope you enjoy a few of our favorites!
LEEANN - rocks her dress! Columbia, SC bridal portrait photographer
We see a different bride almost every weekend, but some things never change. One of those things is that moment, right before you see the bride. It's the moment when you either get what you expected or are surprised. Either way it is always exciting to see each brides dress, especially for her bridal portraits. One great thing about doing a bridal portrait session is that you get a chance to get ready just like you would on your wedding day. You get to test out not only your hair and makeup, but your alterations, shoes, the list goes on. It's really a great opportunity to get beautiful photos of you in your dress, and give everything a test run. We loved working with LeeAnn for her portrait. Here are some favs!
ELIZABETH + WILL - bridal session : Columbia, SC wedding photographer
We were over the moon when Elizabeth started talking to us about including Will in her bridal session. One of the reasons it was so exciting is because it was our chance to meet Will before the wedding day. Elizabeth and Will lived out of town (far away in a very cold part of the country) so we had been doing everything with Elizabeth either over the phone, or on her short trips to Columbia. It's a rare treat when we get to do a bridal session with the bride and groom. On the day of the wedding, there are just so many things going on and schedules to keep, we don't get to spend quite as much time as we would like to with just the bride and groom to really explore our creativity. This is our chance :) We had the great opportunity to shoot out at one of her friends houses on the lake. Here are just a few of our favorites from their session.
ANGIE - rocks her dress! : Columbia, SC wedding photographer
Angie contacted us wanting to do a bridal session. After a few email exchanges, we found out she was already married, and wanted to do a nice session in her dress with her husband Jim in a few of the photos. We were even more excited when Angie told us she would like to do the session out on their property in the cotton fields. Now, Josh is a born and bred South Carolinian. I (Aaron) am originally from Florida, so to me, cotton is exciting :) We were so pleased to work with Angie and Jim. They were a beautiful couple and it really showed. I think Jim was excited when we asked if they wanted to do anything on the farming equipment. Low and behold, he brought out the cotton picker. It was a massive piece of machinery, and we all had a good laugh while we worked on their portraits. Here are a few of our favorites from their session. We hope you can see how much Angie liked to laugh. It was wonderfully infectious.
