SARAH + STEPHEN - engagements at the Sesquicentennial Park

We love how diverse the Columbia area is. We're so fortunate to have so many great outdoor places all within 45 minutes from downtown Columbia. It gives us a great variety of places to work and shoot. As a photographer, all you have to do is look, talk to your clients, and try something new. We were so looking forward to our time with Sarah and Stephen, especially after Sarah suggested we go to the Sesquicentennial park (it's a mouthful for sure).  Full of pathways, weird Spanish style huts, and low hanging trees, there was so much to see. We hope you enjoy a few of our favorites. 

MISTI BRIDAL

One thing I love about Columbia is how many new old things you can find :) Like Wavering Place Plantation.  Built in 1850 this beautiful location had started offering it's grounds as a wedding venue (hence the new).  We were so excited to tour the grounds and work with Misti on her bridal portraits. We're excited to see this venue grow, and can't wait to go back!

Great people, great place, great day. Dallas and Ryan's wedding day was not only beautiful but so much fun. It fit them perfectly. We loved working with them plus their bridal party on the day. Everyone had a laid back fun feeling for the day which made everything even better than it already was. We loved having Lake Murray as the backdrop for the photos and wedding. With Dallas laughing down the isle with her dad, to the night time escapade of digging up the buried bourbon (without a shovel mind you) the day was happy, and we wouldn't have wanted it any other way.

KATIE + BRENT - Brewery engagement session : Columbia, SC photographers

We had a great time working with Katie and Brent. We were thrilled when they chose Hunter Gatherer as their venue for their session. Being patrons of HG ourselves, we loved the space, and had a great time making things interesting. We're so excited for their wedding day, as we know it will be fantastic!

What could be more than having your engagement session being a kid all over again. The carousel. The ice cream. The zoo. We had a blast working with Kae and Andrew on their engagement session. A bride like no other, Kae wanted their photos to be like no other. May Kae and Andrew be an inspiration to us all ;)
