We love Columbia. With the Main Street area booming again, it's such a great place to explore and shoot. Ashlee and Mo wanted a modern looking engagement session, and Main Street was the perfect spot. What made Main even more magical was deciding to shoot a little later in the day to get some beautiful blue hour. We hope you enjoy a few of our favorites!
There are so many things to love about downtown Columbia. There are so many fun spots to shoot, and that light! Loved working with Leah and Marcus. Their wedding is going to be great!
I think the only word to describe Ruby and D would be stunning. We were so excited to work with them on their engagement photos, and visit some new spots Downtown. We hope you enjoy some of our favorites!

Doing an engagement session with a couple is like packing a few weeks or months of friendship all into two short little hours. We found out who you are, where your from, your sense of humor, what restaurants you like.... (you get the point). It's almost like speed dating (well....we don't know anything about speed dating so that's perhaps not an appropriate assumption. We digress.) It's our chance to really get a sense of who you are as individuals, and as a couple. In short, we love it! Amber and Ryan are super cute, super sweet, and super fun. When I (Aaron) found out that they were getting married in Rome, GA I am pretty sure it took all of my will power not to crack a "when in Rome" joke. We loved working with them, and hope you enjoy some of our favs!
After 3 months in our studio, we finally got around to taking some photos of it. Located in the Vista in downtown Columbia, SC, our space is one big room with a lot of character. It is about 1000 sq.ft. that we have loosely divided into a meeting space and actual photo studio. Though we don't hold normal business hours since we could be away shooting at any given time during the week, we are in the studio a lot during the week for meetings, studio shoots, and post processing work. It is always nice to get out of the house and this is a great place to be during the day. With the studio comes new work and we are quickly getting into headshots, studio portraiture, and newborn portraits. We love lighting and for us this is the perfect setting to have fun and explore lighting in a controlled setting, so be on the lookout for some cool new studio work from us!
