AMANDA - rocks her dress : Columbia, SC wedding photographer

Amanda was a pleasant surprise. We say she was a surprise because we were called up to do her portrait session just days before it was scheduled.  Long story, but we were so happy to come in and work with Amanda on her portraits.  She had already chosen the Horseshoe for her location which is always a fun spot to shoot. We love not just the main part of the Horseshoe, but all the little nooks, crannies, and what seem to be secret gems hidden among the shrubs and walkways. With both Josh and myself (Aaron that's me, writes these blog posts if you were ever wondering  being graduates of USC, we've both spent plenty of time traveling the Horseshoe   Me probably more than Josh, but we like to think we have the inside scoop :) Huge Kudos and thanks to both Martha Ann Williams for doing a wonderful job on Amanda's hair, and to Jamie Tran of Eyebrow Junkie for doing a stunning job on her makeup.  She looked fabulous!

What do you love?  What's important to you?  What's your vision?  These are all questions we ask our brides when coming up with a plan for any session.  Diana's vision was a photo of her on her soon-to-be-husband's favorite driveway :)  She knew he would love the winding road stretching behind her for her bridal portrait.  We loved the fall colors starting to come out, and thought it was wonderful how Diana adapted to the season and changed her bouquet to coordinate with her surroundings. We had a great time creating these image with Diana.  That's what we love doing.  Creating things WITH you.  Not just for you.  We're all in this together :) We hope you enjoy a few of our favorites from her bridal session.

Meet... another Ashley!  This one quite different from the last.  This time we got to work with Ashley in the very chic Bella Vista Bridal Boutique! We were so excited to work in Bella Vista's new location.  Ashley was so excited to have this location as part of her bridal portraits.  After some time at Bella Vista, we headed over to the always beautiful Lace House.  We hope you enjoy some of our favorites!  Ashley made a stunning bride.

Meet Ashley!  We had a great time with Ashley for her bridal session at the Saluda Shoals Park.  Ashley wanted a more rustic feel for her portrait and Saluda Shoals was the perfect place.  Ashley was such a trooper as we explored quite literally off the beaten path.  Here are just a few favorites!

Alyssa was so excited for her bridal portraits, and we were too.  Part of what makes being a photographer great is when your client  brings something to the table.  Something about themselves they want to add.  It's a huge part of why we love what we do.  Alyssa had the great idea of taking a photo of her in her gown holding an old photo of her and her dad.  This was a project she wanted to do as a gift to her father on her wedding day.  Let me tell you, this project was one of the most rewarding things we have ever been apart of. Her dad's reaction when she gave it to him was so great.  But more on that later :)  Those photos are coming soon.  Getting back on track, we had a great time with Alyssa.  She wanted her very formal church photo, and then afterward, we hopped around Columbia for the rest of her session.  Here are just a few of our favorites from Alyssa's bridal session!
