One thing I love about Columbia is how many new old things you can find :) Like Wavering Place Plantation. Built in 1850 this beautiful location had started offering it's grounds as a wedding venue (hence the new). We were so excited to tour the grounds and work with Misti on her bridal portraits. We're excited to see this venue grow, and can't wait to go back!
Who doesn't love a transformation? For us we get to see it at least once a week. You see a woman go from a woman to a bride, and there is always a bit of excitement waiting to see what that transformation will be. Dallas looked absolutely stunning in her dress from our friends at London and Lace. Also special thanks to Amy Schaming on hair and makeup, and of course our friends at Fern Studio for the amazing bouquet!!!
Can you bring your adorable Yorkie to your bridal portraits? First off, who would say no? Okay so maybe I'm partial to Yorkies since I had one as a kid growing up but who wouldn't want to photograph a bride and her dog? We had such a good time with Sabrina for her portraits. Bridals in June are no joke here is South Carolina, and Whitney handled it like a pro. It was hot, humid, threatening to rain and she had nothing but a smile on her face. We loved working with Whitney and her sweet mom on these portraits. We'll have more coming from their amazing day soon!

We are so excited to finally share these photos with you. Bridals are so hard simply because we are keeping a killer secret up until the wedding day... what her dress looks like! Erin did not disappoint. We loved her gown from Jo-lins, and loved working with her and her precious mom. They were such a joy! We are so looking forward to sharing images from their wedding day but until then, here are a few of our favorites.
