MORGAN + DEREK - engagement session downtown Columbia : SC Wedding Photography

When talking with Morgan and Derek about their engagement session, I instantly fell in love with the little details they had brought along. My absolute favorite being their map of Italy! Morgan and Derek had recently come back from a trip to Italy and thought it would be fun to bring along a few mementos from their trip. Even the smallest things can add to your session and make it even more fun. We hope you enjoy a few of our favorites!

We are so excited to finally share these photos with you. Bridals are so hard simply because we are keeping a killer secret up until the wedding day... what her dress looks like! Erin did not disappoint. We loved her gown from Jo-lins, and loved working with her and her precious mom. They were such a joy! We are so looking forward to sharing images from their wedding day but until then, here are a few of our favorites.

We've already had the fantastic pleasure of sharing Sarah and Pan's Cambodian wedding on our blog, and now it's time for their American wedding! Sarah and Pan were married at Sarah's home church of The Episcopal Church of St. Simon and St. Jude in Irmo, SC. Their reception followed at the beautiful Lace House. Sarah's stunning reception was spread along the mall of the Governors mansion grounds. Open air and cafe lights set such a romantic tone for their evening. Meagan Warren Weddings did a fabulous job adorning the tables with beautiful place settings and elegant bud vases. We just loved all the sophisticated elements that Sarah and Pan included in their day. One of my favorites was their cake! Covered in gold glitter and topped with a NYC taxi, their cake was a fantastic element and homage to their new home of NYC.  The whole day was a wonderful blend of North and South.  Here are a few of our favorites that we hope you enjoy! JODI + RYAN - wedding in North Augusta

We've never had a bride quite like Jodi :) She was sweet, organized, and oh so fun to work with. What was special about Jodi, is that aside from teaching some adorable elementary kids, she is a photographer. It was a joy working with her, her sweet fiance Ryan, and their families. Jodi and Ryan has some really wonderful and personal details throughout their day. From photos of loved ones to keep close on her bouquet, to the cakes and treats made by Jodi's mother, echos of their family and loved ones were felt from start to finish on their day. We hope you enjoy some favorites from their day! 

LIZ + TK - the Epic wedding : Columbia, SC wedding photographers

Liz and TK had one word they wanted their wedding to be.  Epic.  So you can imagine, it was a pretty over the top day :)  We had a chance to work with some amazing people, who made Liz and TK's wedding everything they wanted it to be.  We were really excited to see Liz incorporate her style from New Orleans into their southern wedding. From the menu, to the second line there were signs of Liz and TK everywhere. Be sure to check out their surprise first dance, and wardrobe change.  It was a great day!
